CommGate and CCIM Houston/Gulf Coast Chapter team up to offer residential brokers and agents a roadmap for getting started in Commercial Real Estate. CommGate will host two courses throughout 2025 to get you started:

Introduction to Commercial Real Estate
Participants in this course will learn to:

  • Differentiate between types of commercial real estate investment markets and sectors
  • Assess common real estate investment analysis tools
  • Evaluate common lease clauses
  • Develop the skills needed for a successful commercial real estate career

Transitioning from Residential to Commercial Real Estate
Participants in this course will learn to:

  • Demonstrate how market data and valuation factors determine the value of a commercial real estate property
  • Describe the fundamental aspects of investment and income-producing properties in the commercial real estate sector
  • Identify challenges in working on commercial deals and associated risk mitigation strategies
  • Identify strategies to transition into a commercial real estate role

Courses will be offered in-person with CommGate, as well as in an online format through the CCIM Institute.
