CCIM Annual Commercial Real Estate Forecast Competition

The 2026 CCIM Commercial Real Estate Forecast Competition scheduled for Thursday, February 5, provides one of the best opportunities to learn about the many factors affecting Houston’s complex real estate marketplace.

The annual CCIM Forecast has become one of Houston’s best attended events for commercial real estate professionals. Attendees will hear seasoned industry leaders discuss market conditions as well as earn four (4) hours of CE credit.

Future market trends are predicted with a debate-style competition by local experts in various commercial property types, including office, retail, industrial, land, and multi-family. In addition to brokers discussing market conditions, the economic picture for the region and state will be presented by Lonnie Hendry, CRE in a keynote address at noon.

Although the CCIM Forecast event is billed as a competition, the event is more about a shared perspective. The presenters typically agree on most substantive points. But having two presenters approach the same topic from different perspectives provides additional insight into a large, complex set of markets. One presenter may be more optimistic and the other perhaps more pessimistic, but the format creates a conversation that describes the markets in more detail than a matrix of market metrics and prognostications.

Make plans now to attend the CCIM Forecast Competition and gain the knowledge to make better business decisions in the Houston and Texas Gulf Coast commercial real estate marketplace.

2025 Economic Outlook Recap

2025 Economic Outlook & Networking Event

Dr. Jones will discuss today’s most critical business issues, including elevated interest rates, wage growth, and inflation. He’ll also give a Texas overview comparing the Houston, DFW, and Austin real estate markets.

Transitioning from Residential to Commercial Real Estate

Describe the fundamental aspects of investment and income-producing properties in the commercial real estate sector
Identify challenges in working on commercial deals and associated risk mitigation strategies
Identify strategies to transition into a commercial real estate role

How do I add my listings?

While searching is free, you’ll need a quarterly subscription to add unlimited listings. To get started, create an account. You can add unlimited listings with a CommGate membership. Find out more about membership.

I’m a CommGate member. How do I add my listings to Moody’s Marketplace?

Great news! All CommGate member listings are automatically elevated to Moody’s Marketplace at no extra charge. You don’t have to do a thing other than input your listings into your local market platform. Don’t see your listings? Contact our Customer Support team.

How are the listings verified?

Every 45 days, brokers with listings on Moody’s Marketplace are required to verify the accuracy and timeliness of each of their listings. This process ensures that old listings don’t hang around like they do on other national listing services.
